In 2002, Carrickcraft recognised that none of the charts of the Shannon and Erne was entirely suitable for their hire-boat operation. After months of research and mapping, a new 32-page A3 size chart was produced with accurate, up-to-date information for hirers and private boaters alike. This chart is re-printed every year with new information and has reduced our off-navigation groundings greatly.

In 2005, Carrickcraft purchased a licence to print the old (1836) Admiralty Charts of Lough Derg, Lough Ree, Upper and Lower Lough Erne, Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. Facsimile copies are available in various sizes and make excellent posters, particularly for shore-size properties.
